"I've been meaning to write to Toyota for the last few weeks to recognize some of the individuals that work at your dealership. I'm on my second Toyota and my first purchase with Woodbine Toyota. I've serviced both vehicles at Woodbine for some time now and have had nothing but praise for the individuals that have serviced my vehicle. I've actually gone out of my way to see what Toyota would do for a client just to prove my point and Woodbine Toyota has always gone above and beyond with flying colours.
A few weeks ago my wife was involved in an accident and thankfully she was ok. After ensuring our safety, I immediately contacted Woodbine Toyota to inquire about our next steps with regards to the vehicle. By the time I ended up contacting Toyota it was about 3PM and the receptionist advised us that the service department was closing. She asked if we could hold to ensure that someone could assist us and I ended up speaking to Edgar. He immediately sympathized with our situation, asked if we were ok and advised us to bring the vehicle to Toyota. He advised us of next steps (rental, etc) and informed us that the service department was closing but he would reiterate our situation to someone who would help us out once we arrived.
When we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman who was waiting for us. The man asked if my wife was alright, told her not to worry and presented her with a very thoughtful gift - this man's name was Edgar. I'm sure Edgar didn't have to wait for us and I was well aware that the service department was long closed as it was way after 3PM. I thanked Edgar for waiting and my apologies to Edgar as this letter was long overdue and well deserved for what he did. We often are quick to look for the bad but not praise the good. What Edgar did for Woodbine Toyota that day definitely assured me that customer service is high priority and it was appreciated by my family.
I hope that you share this with your staff because I've had nothing but good experiences with all in your dealership. Thank you."

I have always dealt with Mississauga Toyota as that is where I purchased my Corolla, but when I called them Tuesday evening to book a service appointment they could offer me nothing sooner than next Monday!
